Down East Stained Glass Forum

VArtGlass is a new program for creating stained glass designs and full-size working drawings. It is made specifically for the stained glass workflow — from a photo or sketch to a finished pattern at real size.

I have been working with stained glass for more than 25 years, and I originally created VArtGlass for my own work — the way I wanted such a program to work in a real stained glass studio.

You can upload a photo or sketch, draw and edit lines, set the real dimensions of the future stained glass panel, choose glass from the palette, prepare the drawing, and print it full size at 1:1 scale.

There is also a growing library of ready-made stained glass patterns.
