FC 27 Title Update 1.1 Guide: Complete Patch Notes

[Ephraim]

FC 27 Title Update 1.1 focuses on stability optimizations. There are no changes to core gameplay mechanics or player stat balancing; instead, the update centers on functional improvements and bug fixes across Ultimate Team (FUT), Career Mode, Clubs, and The Grounds. Players should familiarize themselves with these changes to avoid any unexpected issues after the update.

Ultimate Team Updates and Fixes

Ultimate Team (FUT) has received the most extensive adjustments, as it is the area of greatest interest to most players. A notable improvement is the reduction in pack-opening animation times; this eliminates long waits when opening multiple packs in succession, making the process of opening packs and completing Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) much smoother. Additionally, the Streamlined SBCs feature now includes a filter memory function - if you submit multiple SBCs during a single session, your previously set filter criteria will be retained, sparing you from having to repeatedly adjust player selection parameters and significantly reducing repetitive tasks.

Numerous display and logic bugs have also been resolved. Player cards submitted to an SBC will no longer erroneously appear in the selection pool for other challenges. Issues with incorrect attribute highlighting during Pathway Evolutions previews have been fixed. Furthermore, various glitches - such as incorrect national flag displays for Holographic Player Items during matches, display errors for FUT badges on the scoreboard, and issues where goal-net colors failed to preview or apply correctly - have all been addressed.

If you are actively grinding SBCs or building your squad, having sufficient funds will help you acquire your desired players more quickly. Many players choose to stock up onFUT 27 coins to ensure they don't miss out on rewards from time-limited challenges.

Career Mode Optimizations

Career Mode has received upgrades to its interface and customization options. The Team Management UI has been reorganized with improved text contrast, and the red/green attribute indicators on player panels are now easier to read. The calculation logic for scouts in the Youth Academy has also been adjusted: the number of players a scout can monitor simultaneously is now determined by their experience level, rather than being influenced by their "judgment" attribute.

In Player Career mode, two new types of Rivalry objectives have been added - Consistency Rivalry and Time-Limited Rivalry - providing additional competitive goals for long-term player development. Manager Career mode has received practical improvements: transfer negotiations now clearly state the reasons behind rejected offers, and the logic for salary and contract discussions has been adjusted - veteran players will no longer demand unreasonable "key player" status clauses.

For those managing clubs over the long term, a stable transfer budget is essential for strengthening the squad. Many players plan their resources well in advance, while others may choose to buy FC 27 coins to quickly rotate and upgrade their lineups.

Clubs, The Grounds, and General Bug Fixes

Numerous issues have been resolved within the Clubs and street football (The Grounds) modes. Previously, players encountered problems such as infinite loading screens after cross-play matchmaking prompts, matchmaking queues getting stuck, and 11v11 matches erroneously featuring two goalkeepers - all of which have now been fixed. In The Grounds, bugs affecting mini-game mechanics, menu navigation issues (where users were previously forced to restart the game), and other related glitches have also been addressed.

On a general level, a bug that caused the introductory tutorial to freeze has been resolved. Additionally, a specific issue affecting PC players using a mouse and keyboard - where the mouse would stop functioning when moved outside the penalty area while controlling the goalkeeper - has been patched.

Post-Update Recommendations

Since this patch does not alter game balance, there is no need to overhaul your competitive strategies or squad setups; you can continue using your existing formations and tactics.

However, with many display bugs related to Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) and player cards now fixed, the generation of SBC content and the claiming of rewards for limited-time events will be much more reliable. Expect an influx of players pushing to complete these events. If you plan on collecting high-rated player cards or completing Evolution (EVO) upgrades, having a reserve of coins will make the process much smoother - many players opt to acquire FIFA 27 coins to stay well-prepared for the various limited-time events as they go live.
