The only accurate way to price for profit is by adding the cost of your labour,overhead and profit margin to the cost of all materials.

So keep good records of material costs and time.

If you find that doing that produces a price that's too high for the market, you can lower your price to meet the market; but unless you also reduce your costs this is going to mean less profit or possibly a loss.

Small gains can be made in materials costs, by buying smarter. But, the biggest cost is your time. The best way to become competitive in the market is to get more done in less time, or maybe you're overpaying yourself. You may not be worth that high rte you're paying yourself.
